New for blueberry festival
The 25th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers is June 13-14 in downtown Nacogdoches, and festival volunteers are cooking up new events that will compliment the returning activities that thousands enjoy.

Friday Night Blueberry Blast - free evening concert with children's bounce park ($5 all you can bounce tickets), non-profit food and fun vendors; 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, June 13. Watch the Cowboy Max Show at 6 p.m. with plenty of blueberry-wranglin' stunts and jokes! Around 6:45 p.m., local talent Miki Lynn will keep your toes a-tappin' and rounding out the evening, beginning after 8 p.m., the KBT Choir will have you on your feet, feeling the music!

Garden Capital of Texas Tours - free shuttle rides and self-guided tours of area gardens. Shuttle pick up and drop off located on N. Church St. along with the Pick Your Own Blueberry shuttles. 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14.

Berry Vine Evening - a downtown progressive dinner showcasing some of Texas' best "berry" wines. 6 p.m., Saturday, June 14. A limited number of tickets, $15 each, will be available in the downtown Visitors Center, 200 E. Main St.

        25 Days of Blueberry - businesses in the community will hold mini-festivals with blueberry flair, building up to the big festival day!
