Celebrate Nacogdoches' designation as Garden Capital of Texas and take a shuttle ride and tour local gardens - for FREE!
Maps will be provided for self guided garden tours which highlights the "SFA Sculpture for All" art project and native blooming plants.
Shuttles will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. during the 25th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers, Saturday, June 14 in downtown Nacogdoches. The garden tours shuttle ride pick up and drop off location is on North Church St., near Jones House Bed & Breakfast. Please go by shuttle location to sign up for a time to ride. The tours are expected to last approximately one hour.
"The Four Seasons and Bluebonnet Garden Clubs along with contributions from SFASU and local residents that support gardening have made this new festival event possible," said Debbie Stevens, event coordinator. "How exciting to see great examples of what makes Nacogdoches the Garden Capital of Texas!"
The Garden Capital of Texas Tours is a part of the Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers and produced by the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce.
