Blueberry Cupcake Battle

Calling all amateur and professional bakers for this Berry Exciting Showdown!

Amateur Entries
This BERRY delicious battle will comprise of the competitive groups: ages 8 -12, ages 13 -17, and adult. Click here for the competition entry information.
Blueberry Cupcake Battle - entries due at Visitors Center by 10:30 a.m. for judging.
First place winners will receive a prize in the following categories:
Age 8-12     /    Age 13-17     /    Adult
Contestants will create 6 cupcakes to be judged based on taste, presentation, and the theme of the Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Tipton Ford-Lincoln on Saturday, June 8.
Extra cupcakes may be provided, but are not required.

The entry fee is $5. Click here for registration information or pick up an entry form at the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce and turn entries in for judging on the day of the competition by 10:30 a.m. at Downtown Visitors Center, 200 E. Main St.
First place winners will receive:
  • Age 8-12: Cookware for children
  • Age 13-17: Cutting board and gadgets
  • Adult: Kendra Scott jewelry piece

To participate in the mixing and decorating. We hope that your child's creativity and imagination will help make some wonderful cupcakes, and be a great experience for everyone!

Entry fee is $5. Contestants are asked to bring six (6) cupcakes to the downtown Visitors Center by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

1st Place winner will receive a Gift Basket with Cutting Board.
