  • Take it to Tipton Ford to be displayed at the dealership.
  • Snap a picture of your color splash pages and post it on your social media sites with #TBF2020.

The idea came from Neal Slaten, owner of Tipton Ford, the Texas Blueberry Festival’s presenting sponsor. “At a time while we are staying home more than usual and social distancing, I thought we should offer something fun with the festival theme that could entertain children and adults,” Slaten said. “Coloring a page featuring the art for the 31st Annual Texas Blueberry Festival is a perfect individual activity or something families can do together.”

Enter to win in the Blueberry Color Splash Contest by The Daily Sentinel.

The Daily Sentinel is hosting a Blueberry Color Splash online contest starting Wednesday, May 20, for contestants in four age divisions: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17 and 18 and older.

A copy of the artwork to be colored will be printed in the May 20 and 24 issue of The Daily Sentinel. The coloring page will also be available online, ready for downloading and printing, at www.TexasBlueberryFestival.com. Contestants may submit a photo of their colored artwork through June 19 at dailysentinel.com/contests/blueberrysplash

“This is a great way to share your or your child or grandchild’s talents and be a part of the fun,” said Rick Craig, publisher. “Color the artwork, snap a photo and upload it to the contest site. People will then have an opportunity to vote on their favorites in each division."

Voting is limited to one vote per email account, per division, each day and will take place from June 15-27.

The winners of each division will be announced July 5.
